Mathematics: make R the subject of the formula S=square root of (2R+T/2RT)?

Square both sides

s²=2R +T/2RT

Multiply through by the LCM =2RT

2RTS=4R²T + T

Rearrange in quadratic form

4R²T - 2RTS² + T=0

Make use of quadratic formula

Where ur a=4T, b=-2TS² and c=T

R=-b ±√(b²-4ac/2a)

I guess you can continue from there.... Just substitute the values for a, b and c... U will surely get ur R
