The Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Egboka, recently appealed to the Nigeria University Commission NUC to increase the number of students to be offered admission this year.
It was announced that out of the 80,000 students who wrote the UNIZIK's post UTME this year only 3,700 students will be admitted.
Meanwhile NUC is yet to make a public statement whether or not they accepted the request from the VC.
