UNIZIK Adopts New Security Measures

Following the recent Bombings and Shootings in some Nigerian Universities, Various Institutions have decided to address the issue with immediate effect, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka(NAU) has followed suit.

Recently the Vice-Chancellor of the Institution, Prof. Boniface Egobka FNAS ordered the Security Department to Stop the entering of Motorcycle AKA Okada into the school Premises, while staff who own motorcycle are to Register with the Security to get their entrance permit.

Also the Vc ordered that no Motor cycle should be found within the Administrative Building.In addition all gates in the university are filled with Security Personnel on Operation stop and search all Cars.
