Answers to some Unimaid Questions
A total of 15,881 students will be graduated at the 21st convocation of the University of Maiduguri, where the vice president, Alhaji Namadi Sambo and Justice Mustapha Akanbi will receive honorary degrees.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Daura, who disclosed this while briefing journalists in Maiduguri, said that at the convocation, “we are also appointing two of our distinguished professors, N.M. Gadzama and Kyari Tijani, as professors emeritus.”
Daura said events marking the convocation started on Thursday with a lecture and the “Chancellor’s Nite.”
He said that Friday (yesterday) and today were meant for the award of degrees, diplomas, certificates and prizes, conferment of honorary degrees and appointment of the professors emeritus.
