College of Nursing, Ilorin Admits 50 Students

The Kwara State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin matriculated 50 students for 2011/2012 academic session.

Speaking at the matriculation programme held at the college's hall, the state commissioner for Health, Alhaji Kayode Issa called on the students of the college to attach seriousness to their studies and practice.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi , the commissioner explained that the state government holds the college in high esteem, as it is the only functional college of Nursing and Midwifery in the state.

He said that the effort put in the training of nurses and midwifery as well as the organization of the programme is highly commended.
