Answers to some Unilag Questions
A lot has been taking place in the Former University of Lagos (UNILAG) over the recent couple of weeks, these sad events ranges from
the death of the former Unilag VC, Prof Sofoluwe, to the surprising
demise of a lecturer in the University, who gave up the ghost while watching Chelsea match last weekend, and more recently
the protest of students in reaction to the
change of name of the institution from University of Lagos, to Moshood Abiola University (MAULAG).
See the protest here.
The protest trailing the renaming of University of Lagos to Moshood Abiola University by the Federal Governmet yesterday has entered its second day as students of the university have barricaded the popular Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, thereby causing serious traffic gridlock on both sides of the bridge.
As at press time, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Umar Manko is right now at the scene of the protest on to calm the situation.
More updates to come your way.
