Answers to some Kanopoly Questions
The Kano state Polytechnic Kano has announced her readiness to start accepting application for 2011/2012 admission and registration of both new and old students simultaneously.
Steps for Kano Poly Online Registration
A. Obtain your application access card from any of the designated selling points within the school campuses.
B. Before you proceed, you must create a "user account" on the portal. Also keep in mind, what you would like to use as (i) Login username (ii) Login password and (iii) Valid e-mail address for correspondence.Your picture to be uploaded MUST conform with the following:
* Jpeg format ONLY
* Less than 30KB
* Exactly 150px by 150px
* Recent Photograph
* Of good quality
* Of plain white background
C. Log onto the portal and
click here OR the
create new account link under the login panel on the left side of the web page.
D. Enter your intended username, valid email address, password and the PIN from the application access card you purchased.
E. If successful, you will be redirected to a welcome page, click on the
"My Application Data" link below the applicant image on the on the left side of the portal page and enter the correct application information. NB: Click on the links to expand the input areas.
F. After making all the relevant entries, click on the submit button to submit your application. Click on the VIEW link to preview your submissions. You can correct any information by clicking on the EDIT link and repeating the process above.
G. If satisfied with you submission, click on the PRINT button and print 2 copies of the application slip. Keep one for your personal usage and submit 1 copy at the Office of the Registrar, Academic Affairs Division, Central Administration.
H. Holder of A Level qualification(s) other than that/those obtained from Kano State Polytechnic must request his/her former institution to send records of "Academic Transcript" to the office above(G).
I. Please note that if your application has been submitted successfully, the RED Indicator in front of the "My Application Data" would turn GREEN.
J. Also note that you can always come back any number of times to edit, preview or print your application as long as it is within the application time frame.
