Former V.C. Futo, Prof. Celestine Onwuliri, Killed in Dana Plane Crash

A sad report reaching the myschoolcomm.com desk on the recent Dana Plane crash reveals that the Former Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Prof. Celestine Onwuliri was killed in the ill fated plane crash in Lagos yesterday, 3rd June, 2012.

According to reports from Vanguard newspapers 5 members of the National Universities Council (NUC) also lost their lives.

The education system in Nigeria once again suffers the loss of some top players.

A total of 152 people are reported to have lost their lives in the ill fated plane. This includes Levi Ajuonuma (NNPC Corp Affairs GM) and Ehime Aikhomu, son of former Vice President, Late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu.
