Answers to some Bu Questions
Following the screening exercises conducted by Bowen University, Iwo the underlisted candidates have been offered Provisional Admissions for the 2011/2012 academic session. This offer of provisional admission issubject to validation by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB).
CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
1.PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEE
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance Fee of N50,000 in Bank Draft in favour of Bowen University. The Bank Draft should be from any of the following Banks:
(a)Skye Bank Plc.
(b)Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.
(c)WEMA Bank Plc.
(d)Sterling Bank Plc
(e)First Bank, Plc
(f)Inter Continental Bank Plc.
Candidates will be required to present the originals of their 2011 UTME Result Slip and “O” level statement(s) of result for the collection of a “Clearance” from the Registry which will enable them to pay the acceptance fee. Candidates awaiting “O” level results are required to present only their 2011 UTME Result Slip for the collection of theClearance to enable them pay the Acceptance Fee.This offer of provisional admission will lapse at the close of work on Friday 5th August, 2011 if the non-refundable acceptance fee is not paid on or before that date.
2.RESUMPTION Date For Bowen University 2011/2012 Academic Session
All candidates offered this Provisional Admission are to report for the 2011/2012 Academic Session as follows:
(i)Faculty of Social & Mgt Sciences – 8th August, 2011
(ii)College of Health Sciences - 9th August, 2011
(iii)Faculty of Agriculture - 9th August, 2011
(iv)Faculty of Science & Sci Edu – 9th August, 2011
3.REGISTRATION
Course Registration commences immediately after resumption. All students must present originals and photocopies of the following to be elligible for the registration
(i)Evidence of payment of acceptance fee
(ii)Letter of Admission
(iii)Birth Certificate
(iv)2011 UTME result
(v)O'Level Results
4. ADMISSION LETTER, SCHEDULE OF FEES AND OTHER RELEVANT DOCUMENTS
Candidates are requested to collect their Admission letters and other relevant documents from the Registry (Academic Office) of the University.
